Love & Beauty Purple/Gold and Sinful Red Ocean

Today, I have on a polish I picked up from Forever 21. The brand is called Love and Beauty. They have quite a few different colors, and I think I have around ten of them. They are $2.99 and supposedly they are made by the same people who make LA Girl polish. Quite a few of the L&B colors are the same as the LA Girl colors. They don't have the same names, but they look just alike. The one I have on today, is just called purple. It is a grape purple with gold shimmer. It's very pretty. Application was a bit tricky as the polish was kinda thick. I used two coats but one was plenty. While I really liked the color on it's own, I was in the mood for something more. So, I put a coat of Sinful Colors Red Ocean on top. Red Ocean is a red base with green flakies and orange glitter. LOVE it! :-)

After adding Sinful Colors Red Ocean, I decided to top it off with adding a Hot Topic polish that has holo stars and glitter. Maybe a bit too much? I don't know. I kinda like it..but not for sure. LOL! I guess I was just in a layering mood.

OPI Pink Me I'm Good

Good morning! Today I have on an Ulta exclusive (well, it was suppose to be)from Valentine's Day 2010. I say it was supposed to be an exclusive, because recently it has been showing up at CVS of all places! Not any around me, but I've read on MUA NB that people have been finding it there. So if you don't have it yet, you might want to check. I somehow managed to miss this polish at Ulta last year. It was one of my biggest lemmings, and I thought I was just going to have to miss out on it. I checked ebay a few times over the last year, and every time I found it, it was crazy expensive. I got lucky a couple of months ago, and a lovely MUA buddy sent it to me. I was super happy to say the least! :-)

I just got around to wearing it, and it doesn't disappoint. Pink Me I'm Good is a pink jelly with lots of gold glitter. I used three coats, but would have been fine with two. Dry time was awesome! I love it when a polish dries super fast. I'm so impatient! LOL!













Were you lucky enough to be able to grab this one? I have no idea if OPI will have a Valentine's exclusive at Ulta this year, but I'm hoping so!

My Super Bowl Mani,China Glaze Lighthouse, and OPI Black Shatter

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! :-) Are you watching the game tonight? Who are you rooting for? I'm going for the Steelers, though I won't be too upset if they don't win. ;-) I did do a Steelers mani. though. and will be watching the game and having some yummy food.

Here is CG Lighthouse. It's actually the first yellow that I've ever liked on myself. This is a great yellow/gold color with glass flecks through out. I used three coats.

OPI Texas Collection-Houston We Have A Purple

Well, I had thought the OPI Texas collection was going to be one I could pass on, and that doesn't happen often! LOL! However, I was wrong. Once I found out there were jellies, I had to try them. I bought two of the six jellies at Ulta last night, and I will def. be getting the other four. Today, I have on Houston we have A Purple. It is seriously the best jelly polish I have ever used, and I'm a big fan of jellies. This one was opaque in only TWO coats. That's a record when it comes to jellies. Usually I have to use four or five! This is amazing polish!

Houston We Have A Purple is a pink/violet purple. It looks like I've dipped my nails in raspberry juice! ;-)













What do you think of the OPI Texas collection? Do you plan on getting any of them?

LA Splash Ocean Sprinkles

How are you all doing today? I'm pretty much snowed in. We had 17 inches of snow yesterday! It's crazy outside right now, so I'm staying in where it's warm, and comfy. :-)

Today, I have on another one of the LA Splash colors I found the other day in my stash. This is another one I got back in the summer at Ulta, and had yet to wear for some reason. This one is called Ocean Sprinkles and is a pretty sky blue base with turquoise and gold glitter. I used four coats, but again, it dried really fast so it was no biggie.

Sally Hansen Black Diamond,NYX Asphalt and Essie Matte About You.

Good morning! Well, I hope you are having a good morning, considering that it is Mon. ;-) We are supposed to have awful weather over the next two days. Today we're supposed to have a bad ice storm, and tomorrow we are supposed to have a foot and a half of snow. Good times. I really,really hate to get out when it's icy. I'm going to head to the store in a bit to stock up, so hopefully I won't have to get out much in the bad weather.

I recently bought Sally Hansen Black Diamond at CVS for 75% off. Couldn't pass up such a great deal! :-) It's a very pretty black base with crystal colored shimmer. It also has some very fine pink and green glitter through out. I am surprised by how much I like this color. I thought it was just another black until I looked closer at it. I might have to go grab another bottle while it's still on sale. It applied very well, and I used two coats of it.

I accented my ring and thumb nails with one coat of NYX Asphalt. Asphalt is a black jelly base with fine multi colored glitter. It has red,green,silver and gold glitter. It's a pretty unique polish. I don't think I've ever seen one like it. I decided to top it off with Essie Matte About you. I LOVE this look. I think I'm going to have to do a full mani. with it soon.
