Happy Hands The New Year,Darling Diva Crooked Star, and Illamasqua Aorta.

Happy 2013!!! Did you have a good Holiday/New Year's? My was great, but I can't believe it's already over! It really came up on me quick this year. I've been so busy, I've hardly had time to sleep! ;-) I do know one thing, I'm happy to see 2012 go and very happy to see a new year! 2012 was not my year. At all. Sure there were some good things, but the majority of the year was not the best. I'm determined to do everything in my power to make 2013 a good year! I hope you all have a fabulous year too! :-) I know one thing, I will be back to blogging on a more normal basis. I can't believe I haven't lost followers in my leave from the blogging word. I know I've said it before, but I've really missed it. I'm excited to get started again. I am SO behind! I have a backlog all the way through last summer to catch up on! Those of you that have stuck by me, thank you! I really appreciate it. :-) I'm going to show you my NYE and New Year's Day manis. in today's post. I'm so lame! I'm posting these before I post my Christmas/holiday manis! For New Year's Eve, I wore a polish by Darling Diva called Crooked Star. It has multi colored bar glitter and gold stars. I layered one coat of it over one coat of Finger Paints Black Expressionism. I really liked how this turned out. It reminded me of fireworks. Darling Diva Crooked Star over FP BE Here it is using the NYC matte topcoat. Darling Diva Crooked Star over Finger Paints Black Expressionism Then today, for New Year's Day I used a polish called, The New Year from Happy Hands. The New Year has silver and white bar glitter, large white hex glitter, med. silver hex glitter, and small white and silver glitter. I used two coats, but I really only needed one. It's packed with glitter! It was very easy to use for having so much glitter in it. A def. win for me! :-) I layered it over two coats of Illamasqua Aorta, which was is from the Illa. rubber finish collection that came out awhile back. Here it is without flash. Pahlish Great Wide Open and Finger Paints Pink Perscective

I have two great colors to show you today, and both are great summer colors! Speaking of summer, is it hot where you live? It has been crazy hot here for the past two weeks. I'm talking 110 degrees with quite a bit of humidity on top of that. Scorching hot! We're finally getting a bit of a break today. It's only 73 at the moment which is just awesome! :-) It's supposed to be in the 90's but even that will feel cool compared to what it has been.

Were you able to grab any of the colors from the neon Finger Paints collection? I got all but one of them, and I meant to get all of them. I somehow skipped one of the pinks. I have the pink I did get, to show you today It's called Pink Perspective. It might just be my fav. neon pink I've used yet. It's just so bright! I love it! Application was great, and I could have gotten away with one coat, but I used two.

I then applied Pahlish's Great Wide Open on top. I am in LOVE with this polish! I want to put it over everything! I'm wearing this same combo. as my pedi. right now as well.
Great Wide Open is a mix of different shapes and sizes of matte white glitter and rainbow glitter. Application on this one was great too. I didn't have any problems placing the glitter, or getting enough out of the bottle. You can find Pahlish on etsy here:

First up, the two together.

Birthday Mani. and Polish Haul!

Good morning! My birthday was June 23....two weeks ago today, so this is a little late. I wanted to post about it anyway, since it involved polish....lots of polish! :-)

First I'm going to show you what I wore as my b-day mani. It's a polish I actually got as a gift, and I'm in love with it! It's Hare Rad Cloud, which is a new Hare polish that was just very recently released. Rad Cloud is a med. pink base with lots of different colored square glitter! I really love square glitter, and think Hare makes some of the best polishes with it. There is also multi colored med. hex glitter, and tiny purple glitter. I used one coat of Rad Cloud over two coats of OPI Pedal Faster Suzi. Application was great! I had no problems with it at all. Rad Cloud can def. be worn on it's own as well.
