Barry M Pink Flamingo & BYS Kinky Pink

Happy Wednesday! How is your day going? I'm having an extremely lazy day for some reason. It's a cold/rainy day, and it's making me not want to do a thing. We're even supposed to get snow tonight. I'm so not ready for that yet.

Since it's Wed. I'm wearing my pink. I haven't done a pink Wed. for awhile, so decided to today. I have a coupe of new to me polishes to show you. I got them in a swap with nail loopy, who is a fellow blogger. :-) She was very generous to me, and sent me lots of goodies. You will see them all soon. Today, I'm wearing two that she sent to me.

I have on my first Barry M polish, and I LOVE it! It's called Pink Flamingo, and is a medium pink creme color. The formula and application on this was fabulous! If all Barry M polishes are like this, I've been missing out! I did get a couple more that I'm excited to try as well. I used two coats of Pink Flamingo.

I added two coats of BYS Kinky Pink over Pink Flamingo. Kinky Pink is in a clear hot pink base, and it has small round holo glitter and big holo hex glitter.

Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop

Happy pink Wed! :-) I have one of the newer Lippmann glitters to show you. Well, I say it's newer, but I guess it's been out since July. I swear, it seems like the last few months have flown by! It doesn't seem very long ago that it was July....and 110 degrees outside! I'm sure glad it's not that hot now though.

Anyway, Candy Shop is pretty much Happy Birthday with a med. pink base. It has small multicolored glitter, and multicolored hex glitter. It really does remind me of candy....like jawbreakers or gumballs.

I didn't have any problems with application at all. Sometimes with glitter polishes like this, they tend to be thick and goopey. This one wasn't like that at all. It was opaque in two coats, and dried fairly quickly.

I love pink, and I love glitter, so I ended up taking quite a few pics. That seems to happen a lot lately. ;-)

Lynnderella Connect the Dots over Cosmo. Wild Thing.

Good afternoon! I haven't done pink Wed. for a couple of weeks, so thought I'd get back to that today. I also really wanted to wear another of the Lynnderella polishes I got. The one I choose happens to look great over a bright pink. I'm wearing Lynnderella Connect the Dots, which just might be the most unique polish ever. It has multi shapes and sizes of black and white glitter. The glitter isn't a sparkly glitter. It's more of a matte glitter. I used it over Wild Thing, which is the polish that I got for free from Cosmo. I did a blog on it not too long ago. Revlon Starry Pink.

Happy Wed! Goodness, I've let a few days go by AGAIN without blogging. I'm really sorry. :-( I should be back to normal now. ;-) This time, I had terrible computer problems. I got a new computer! Yay! ;-) So I've been getting used to it, and getting everything transferred from my old computer to the new one. I love having a new computer, but it does take some getting used to that's for sure!

Since it's Wed. I have on pink today. I have on one of the new fall colors from Revlon. It's called Starry Pink, and I LOVE it! It's unique, and not like anything I own. I'm not even sure if I've seen a polish like it before. It's a light pink with small silver glitter, and silver hex glitter. Application was pretty good. It was a little thin, but I can forgive that. I used three coats.

Missha Crystal Pink Glitter.

Good evening! I'm a little late to this post, as Wed. is almost over, but I did wear pink today for Pink Wed. I've been sleeping on and off all day. Still sick. :-( I think I'm going to have to go to the doctor tomorrow. I was hoping whatever I have, would just go away, and I wouldn't have to go. It's still hanging around though. Going to the doctor ranks up there with one of my very least favorite things to do. Ah well, guess I'll suck it up and go. Unless I wake up and feel good tomorrow. That would be nice. :-)

Today I have on a Missha crystal polish. It doesn't have a name. The number on the back is #GPK01 It's a pink glitter polish. It has dusty pink glitter, and fuchsia glitter mixed in. Application was absolutely wonderful! It has a fairly thick brush, and I was able to cover my nail with one swipe. Awesome! It also dried almost instantly, which was nice. I used two coats or it to be opaque. I almost forgot, this polish smells like roses! Have you ever smelled Tea Rose perfume? If you have, it smells jut like that, on the nails.

Cosmo. Wild Thing,New York Summer Glitter,and Kitty Update!

Happy Wed! First of all, I want to think all of you who sent good wishes for my Morris cat. They worked! :-) We got good news Mon. at the vet. He had no signs of heart disease, and the slight murmur he has, is a benign condition. He really needs to have a tooth out, as it has a hole in it. It's red and swollen, and most likely causing him some pain. Since his Cardiac exam was so good, the vet said he is at no more risk than a normal cat. So tomorrow morning, he will be having his dental, with a tooth removal. Even though we got the good news, and the go ahead, I'm still a little nervous. I always am when one of my pets has to be under. Hopefully everything will go just fine. I'm sure he will not be a very happy cat, until he's home and comfy. ;-)

Today, for pink Wed. I have on a polish from Cosmopolitan magazine. It was free polish, I got for sending some kind of a text message. I had heard about it on MUA so I tried it, forgot about it, and got it the other day. A couple months later. It's actually a pretty nice polish. It's called Wild Thing, and it's a very hot pink color. The formula was a bit think, but nothing too awful. It was free, so I'm not complaining. ;-) I used two coats, and this is one bright color! It was so bright it was hard to get great pics. but they are pretty close to accurate.

I added a coat of New York Summer Vegas Silver to it. VS has small silver glitter pieces and holo bar glitter. I'm not always a fan of bar glitter, but I quite like this one, a lot.

NYX Girls Maui Sunrise

It's Wed. which means hump day, and Pink Wed. :-) Well, I managed to get my cleaning done last night. I ended up procrastinating just a bit longer. ;-) It's done though! Today is a lazy day, and I might do a little shopping. It's FINALLY starting to cool down here. It actually feels like fall today. I love this kind of weather. I can def. do without the 115 degree days!

Today I have on a NYX Girls polish called Maui Sunrise. This is a gorgeous polish! I absolutely love it. I'm a sucker for pinks with gold shimmer, and that's what this is. It's a deep pinkish orange with lots of gold shimmer. It leans much more pink than orange. Application was great, and I used two coats. The difference between this pink with gold shimmer, and all the rest I've tried? This one is actually opaque in the two coats I used. It seems like all the others, I've tried always leave at least a little visible nail line. This does not, and I really like that. :-)

Color Club Space Case and CC Starry Temptress Topcoat

Happy Pink Wed! Are you wearing pink today?? I have on a color from one of Color Club's summer collections. It's from th Starry Temptress collection. Space Case is bright bubble gum pink with glitter. It's not the normal shinny glitter though. It's a duller non shiny glitter. I know some really don't care for this kind of glitter, but I kinda like it. I'm always open for something new and different, and this polish is def. that, because of this glitter. The collection also comes with a shinny glitter topcoat called Starry Temptress. So, if you don't like the duller glitter, you can still make it shine. ;-) I have pics. of both to show you. Application was great, and I used two coats of Space Case and one coat of the Starry Temptress topcoat.

The first three pics. are of Space Case alone, and the last three pics. are with the Starry Temptress topcoat.

So, which do you like better, with or without the topcoat? I have a feeling most of you will like it with the topcoat. ;-) I like it both ways. I do like it without the topcoat for something different, but it's really pretty and sparkly with the topcoat. I like both.

Nicole by OPI Canadian Exclusive Coral Denominator

Happy pink Wed! ;-) My husband was back in Canada again last week. He brought home some more polishes for me! Coral Denominator is a Canada exclusive found at Shopper's Drug Mart. I in in love with this polish!! It's a med. coral pink with tons of gold shimmer. I know pink and coral are two different colors, however they are both there in this polish. Kinda mixed. ;-) I don't have anything like it. It kind of reminds me, of a pink version of OPI's It's My Year. Application was great, and I used three pretty thick coats.

Watermelon by The Hungry Asian

Good afternoon! How's your day going? Mine's going slow! I'm so thrown off the days, because of the holiday this week. I almost forgot that it's pink Wed. ;-) I decided to wear a polish that I got from The Hungry Asian awhile back. It's called Watermelon, and it's a bright pink color with green glitter. I love it! It applied wonderfully, and I used two coats.

I tried REALLY hard, but I just could not get the glitter to show green in my pics. very well. I took so many pics. but it looks like black glitter. You'll just have to trust me, that's it's green. ;-) That, and you can see in the bottle how green it is.
