Sephora Don't Look Back, and Rose Polish from Claire's.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there!♥That includes moms to furbabies too!♥
Did you do anything special today? We had a big BBQ with my parents for mother's day. I ate entirely wayy too much today, and I'm absolutely stuffed! You know that painful full feeling you get when you eat too much? Yeah. That's me right now. It sure was good though. :-)

For today's mani I used a polish from the Sephora brand. It's called Don't Look Back. It says it's a metallic polish, but I don't really see it. It's a pretty, dusty/grayish purple color. Application was pretty good. It was a little streaky, but not too bad. I'm not 100% sure if it was me or the polish, as I was trying to hurry. I could have used one coat, but because of it being a bit streaky, I used two.

I then topped it off with one coat of Claire's polish I picked up yesterday. It doesn't have a name on it. It's in a cute little rose shaped bottle. It looks like the Anna Sui rose shaped bottles. There were five differet colors. A white sparkle, pink sparkle, purple sparkle, blue sparkle,pinkish/peach sparkle and a silver. I got the purple and blue. I used one coat of the purple sparkle over today's mani. I then added two flower stickers to my ring fingers. I also picked the stickers up at Claire's.

First, here are pics. of my finished mani.

Thanks for looking, and I hope you had a great weekend! Can't believe it's already over!

I'll leave you with some cupcakes from today. ;-)

I swear I'm surrounded by cupcake stores. There are four within 5-10 min. of my house, and I have zero willpower!

Claire Polish bottle is too cute but it really reminds me of Anna Sui; see: http://graciousgood.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/anna-sui-nail-polish.jpg

  6. Thanks Ali. Everything is getting back to normal. My grandfather became very ill at the beginning of April. I went to Illinois for 2 weeks and took care of him. He passed away April 16. I got back home and settled in then the tornados ripped through Alabama and southern Tennessee. It was a mad house here. Things are settling down a bit now. Thanks for wondering.

  9. Ngelic...Thank you so much for the blog award! I really appreciate you thinking of me. :-) The Claire's polish def. does look like the Anna Sui polishes. I don't have any AS, but there are many of them on my wish list!

jaybird...Wow, I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather. :-( It's great that you were able to go be with him and take care of him. I'm sure that made him happy. I'm really glad you are okay, and were safe during the tornados. That must have been scary though. I hope things start getting better for you soon. ((hugs))

Hebridean Sprite...Thank you! :-) Yes, there was TONS of icing on the cupcakes!

Miss Starshiny....Thanks! I love the bottle too. ;-)
