Good morning! Are you having a good weekend? Mine's been pretty good so far. :-) Last night, was a little scary though. We had several tornado's touch down. Scary stuff, but thank goodness, all is well this morning. Why do these things always happen in at night?! I think I've decided that I'm never going to get caught up on my sleep! There is always something that keeps me from getting a full nights rest. I think today will be another nap day. ;-)
I stopped by Claire's yesterday, as I had heard they had crack polish now. Who doesn't anymore? LOL! I wanted to see what colors they had. See if they had anything different. They had silver, black and neon pink. I grabbed the neon pink, since I have yet to see that color in crack form. ;-) I have to say, it's the best crackle I've used so far! I was very surprised by how well it cracked. I wish all crackles worked this good! I layered it over China Glaze Pelican Gray. PG is a new fav. of mine. I just got it, but I had passed it up every time I saw it. I thought it was just another gray cream. Then I saw some swatches, and had to have it. It's a light gray with silver sparkle. Love it! :-) I used two coats of PG and application was great.
First up, Pelican Gray with Claire's Pink Cracked. (that's the actual name)The first two pics. are with top coat, and the last two (with the crackle) are without top coat.
China Glaze Pelican Gray.
Close Up.
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday! :-)
I have the Claire's black crackle, I have yet to try it! The pink looks neat!
ReplyDeleteNice result with the crackle. I like your use of colours.
ReplyDeleteLove the pink and grey combination. I like how small the crackles are. Glad your alright. That must be so darn scary.
ReplyDeleteThis crackle looks AWESOME!
ReplyDeletePurrceptiveVixxen....Thanks! You'll have to let me know how you like the black. If it works as well as the pink, I think I might have to get it. I've heard there is a neon green as well. I didn't see it at the store here. Did you see it?
ReplyDeleteCharlotte Sparkle....Thank you! :-)
Lucy....Thanks! I like how it cracked small too. It's the only one I have that's done that. Yes, tornado's are really scary. Being in KS it can happen quite a bit. We're in tornado season right now. Even though I've lived here all my life, they still scare me!
Spaceinvaders...Thank you! :-)
Love, love, love the grey and pink look! I've actually done it with Pelican Grey and the China Glaze Pink Crackle but the Claire's is so much brighter! I love it!
