OPI Ulta Holiday Exclusive Speak For Your-Elf!

Good afternoon! I have to apologize for not posting much in the last week. It's been really busy around my house, and I've hardly had a chance to sit down! We've had company, been shopping(lots)decorating for Christmas, cooking etc...I'm tired! I don't think I'm going to do much today. I'm ready for a lazy day! ;-) It is my stepson's birthday today, but he doesn't want to do much. We are having an awesome cake, and he wants take in, so it's an easy day.

This year Ulta has three Holiday exclusives again. Two of the three, are just renamed. One of them is an exact dupe to one of the Muppet polishes, and the other is a dupe for a Nicole by OPI. I picked up the red one, which is called Speak For Your-Elf! It's a gorgeous jelly red glitter, and I know it's a dupe to something, but it was so pretty, I had to get it. Also, being the red lover that I am, I kinda had to get it. ;-) It's very similar to China Glaze Ruby Pumps. However, I actually think I like this new OPI better! I know! Crazy! I never, ever thought I'd like something better than Ruby Pumps. ;-) I used two coats, and application was wonderful.

Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you are having a great Sunday! :-)

Color Club Santa's Cinnamon

Good morning, and happy Sat!! :-) Do you have any fun weekend plans? I don't have anything planned, and it's nice. I've been super busy the last few weekends, and while it's all been fun, it's nice to have a free weekend.

Color Club has released an exclusive to Sally's Beauty holiday collection. There are six colors, and they are all scented. I'm excited that Sally's is starting to carry Color Club. Hopefully, they will continue to get new collections. I bought three of the holiday collection, and today I have on Santa's Cinnamon. First I have to say, that this polish smells really, really good. Seriously. I can't stop smelling my nails. People might star to think I have some kind of a problem! LOL! I caught myself sitting at a stop light yesterday, smelling my nails. If someone saw me doing that, they probably thought I was a little odd. ;-) This polish smells like red hots, or cinnamon gum.

Now, on to the actual polish. I love it! It's a red jelly with lots of red glitter. It's super pretty, and sparkly. A great polish to wear for the holidays. Application was great, and I have on two coats.

The first pic. is without a topcoat, and the rest are with.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful Sat! :-)

Confetti Tazmanian Devil & Tip Toe Holiday Vacances.

Good afternoon! Wow, it's been awhile since I last posted. I'm really sorry about that. Where as last week went by slow for me, this one is flying past, and I've been super busy. Thanks for sticking with me. I'm always afraid everyone will stop following me, if I miss a few days. Is that silly?

Today, I have two new polishes to show you. I found a new to me brand last weekend, at of all places, Old Navy. I had no idea they sold polish. They didn't have very many different colors, and I just got one of them. The brand is called Tip Toe. The one I got is named Holiday Vacances. It's a gorgeous deep berry red jelly, with tons of gold shimmer particles through out. It reminds me of a much darker version of OPI Smitten with Mittens. Application was actually really good, and I used two coats.

I also picked up a new polish from Confetti. It's called Tazmanian Devil, and it's a multi colored glitter. It has different colored hex glitter and multi colored, small round glitter. What makes this multi glitter stand out from all the rest, is that it also has very fine, silver glitter in it. I really, really like it. In fact, it might just be my fav. of these types of glitter. It's only $1.99 too!

First up are pics. of the the two together. I used two coats of Tazmanian Devil over Holiday Vacances.

Here's Tip Toe Holiday Vacances on it's own.

Close up's of both.

Revlon Devil's Candy and Kleancolor Red Hot.

Good morning! Did you have a good weekend? I was FINALLY feeling better, so I decided to go to a football game Sat. night. I had a great time, but it poured down rain for about 15 min. and guess what? I woke up Sun. morning with a raging sore throat. Again. Ugh. I'm sooo sick of being sick. :-( It's making me a little bit grumpy. Just ask my husband. ;-)

I am back to nubs. Again. It seems like everytime, I get my nails to a longer length that I like, I brake a nail. Or two. Which is what happened on Fri.

I wore this mani. on Sat. I used Revlon Devil's Candy first. Devil's Candy is a great red jelly. It's almost worth getting for the name alone. ;-) I have so many reds, but I just couldn't pass this one up. I did at first. Two or three times. Finally, I just had to get it. Application was pretty good. It was just a little runny, but nothing too major. I used two coats. I put a coat of Kleancolor Red Hot on top. Red Hot, is a red tinted base with red hex glitter.

Here is Devil's Candy alone.

Thanks for looking, and I hope you have a happy Monday! :-)

Hare Polish Swatches....Bisbee,A Positive & Pegasus.

Good evening! It has once again, been a few days since I last posted. I'm sorry about that. :-( Things have been a little crazy around here. We're in the middle of having our roof done,a screened in porch built, the city is working on the streets in front of our house, and I've had a few vet appointments. There have been so many people in and around our house, not to mention the noise! I'm so ready for it to be over! I will be back to posting on a regular basis, hopefully now. I come with some awesome polish though! Three of them. A fellow MUA nail boarder, and blogger has set up a shop on etsy to sell her polish. They are really pretty and unique polishes. I love them! You can find her shop at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/HAREpolish She doesn't have anything for sale right now, but keep an eye out. When they are for sale, you have to be quick, as they sell out super fast! I def. recommend them though.

First up, here are a few bottle pics......they are super cute! L-R A Positive,Bisbee and Pegasus.

Look at all of that awesome hex glitter! :-)

Application was great with all three. I had no problems with any of them. I used two thick coats, and one thin.

Bisbee is a teal jelly base with lots of golden hex glitter.

Bisbee Matted

A Positive is a gorgeous, berry red based jelly, with tons of silver hex glitter.

A Positive Matted. (I used Essie Matte About You for all the Matte pics.)

Last, but def. not least is Pegasus. I have this one on today, and love it! Pegasus is a lilac base with lots o silver/white hex glitter.

Pegasus Matted

So....what do you think? Do you like them matted, or on their own the best? I have to say, I love them all both ways. LOL! I can't choose! There is still one polish that I don't have yet. It's a navy jelly with copper hex glitter, and I must have it! LOL! I'm hoping to snag one next time they are up. If you love hex glitter and jellies, you will love these! ;-)

Thanks so much for looking, and I hope you all have a great night! :-)

Lise Watier Fun in the Sun and Lori Anne Silver Glitter.

I have on another polish from Canada today. It's a brand I had never heard of. I'm not sure if it's a Canada brand only or not. I think it might be. I also think they only release around five or so new colors a year. I might not be right on the number, but from what I've read, it's very few. They are great colors though. My husband brought three home for me. The first one I wore is called Fun in the Sun. It's a great summer color. A bright jelly red. It's almost a neon color, but not quite. I only had to use two coats for it to be opaque, which is unusual for a jelly. Application was pretty good. A bit runny, but nothing too bad.

I decided to top it off with Lori Anne Silver Glitter. I LOVE this glitter. It's more of silver chips to me, than the normal round glitter. I know there are tons of silver glitters out there, but this one is pretty unique to me.

First up, here are pics. of both together.

Click to see the glitter MUCH better. ;-)

Fun in the Sun on it's own.

Close up pics. of the two together. You can see that the glitter is just a bit different than the normal silver glitter.

Have you ever heard of either of these brands?

A Positive.....A Franken by Hare on Etsy.

Good evening! Have you had a good Sat? Mine has been great, and I've pretty much done nothing. :-) I love days like this. I just did my mani. for the day, and it's almost 9pm. I don't usually do my nails this late, but I had to try a new polish, that I just got in the mail. It's made my a fellow blogger who has opened her own polish shop on etsy. Check it out here: http://www.etsy.com/people/HAREpolish She has several great colors, and I can't wait to try more of them.

The color I have on now, is called A Positive. It's a deep berry jelly with lots of regular and hex glitters. It applied really well, and I used two coats. I def. could have gotten away with only one though.

Don't forget to click! ;-)

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, and thanks for looking! :-)

Love & Beauty Current....Flakie goodness!

Good morning! It's Friday!!! Yay! :-) Today, I have on another one of the Love and Beauty polishes that I picked up at Forever 21. This one is called Current, and it's the exact same polish as LA Girls Addict from the Rock Star collection. I'm so glad I was able to find this, as Addict has been one of my biggest lemmings. Current/Addict is a beautiful deep red/burgundy jelly with red and gold flakes. Application was great and I used two coats. I love this polish so much! :-)

I seriously suggest clicking on these so you can see the awesomeness of this poish....just sayin. ;-)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Anyone have any big plans?
