I'm really back this time! New China Glaze,Icing, and Girly Bits.

Hi guys! Long time, not talk....again. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bail on you all. At all. I really appreciate you sticking with me. More than I can say. Life just got pretty busy for me. Some good, some not so good things. I have really missed blogging though, and am back for good. I have so much polish, and so many manis. to show you guys it's crazy. I may not have been blogging for awhile, but I was still doing manis, and taking pics. of all of them. So, I'm kind of backlogged. I guess that's kind of a good thing? That just means I have a lot more to blog about, huh? ;-)

I hope all of you in the United States, had a happy 4th of July! Those of you not living here, I hope you had a great day! ;-) I ate entirely too much! We had a BBQ with just tons of food, and desserts. It's been extremely hot here this summer, so there has been a burn ban on fireworks. Our city still had the fireworks display tonight, so we went to that.

It's 1:30 in the morning here so technically, it's not July 4th anymore. However, I'm going to show you my July 4th mani. I hope that's alright. ;-)

I started out using Star Spangled from Girly Bits. It's a blue jelly, with red and blue glitter. It also has red bar glitter in it. I absolutely LOVE this polish. It's pretty much perfection in a bottle. It applied like a dream. I had absolutely no problems with application at all. I used two coats. I then applied a new polish from Icing called Patriotic Princess. PP has holo stars, and round medium sized red and blue glitter in a clear base. I was prepared for the stars to be hard to get out, but they weren't! I think this might be the first polish, that has stars in it, that they were actually easy to get out. That I own anyway. I just used one coat over SS.

I have one more mani. to show you today. I wore this one yesterday....well, the day before the 4th. ;-) I keep forgetting that it's actually the 5th now, since it's so late.

Anyway, I started out using China Glaze Adventure Red-Y which is a great red creme from the new Safari collection. I found it at Sally's Beauty Supply. I was surprised to see the collection out already. Adventure Red-Y applied pretty well. It was just a little sloppy, but I'm not sure if that was the actual polish, or just myself being in a hurry. I used two coats, but you could def. get away with only one! I layered one coat of Meteorites Moonshot on top. Moonshot is has red, silver, and blue bar glitters in a clear base. I don't know too much about this brand, except they make quite a few really great bar combos. You can find most of them on ebay, which is where I got mine.

My New Year's Eve Mani....Lynnderella Change & CG Blue Year's Eve.

Hey guys! Happy New Year's Eve! ;-) Did you have a good Christmas? Do you have any big plans for tonight? I'm getting ready to head out, but wanted to get my NYE mani. posted before the night is over. :-)

I started out using two coats of China Glaze Blue Year's Eve, which is from the CG Holiday 2011 collection. BYE is a deep blue glass fleck. Application was a little runny, but nothing too bad.

I then added two coats of Lynnderella Change. Changes is made up of different shades of gold, copper and red glitter. The glitter is multi shaped....squares,round and hex of different sizes.

First up, the finished mani.

Lynnderella Happy Holo Daze and OPI Gift of Gold.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!!! I hope you all have a wonderful day day.....whether you celebrate Christmas or not. :-)

This is going to be another short one, but I wanted to get my Christmas mani. posted before the day is over. I used OPI Gift of Gold as my base. It's from last year's Ulta holiday exclusives. Gift of Gold is made up of mostly gold glitter. It also has some red and silver glitter throughout. Application was absolutely wonderful for a glitter. Seriously. It was a one coat glitter! That doesn't happen very often.

I put two coats of Lynnderella Happy Holo Daze on top. Happy Holo Daze in one word, is awesome!!! It's like a bottled Christmas party! :-) It has different sizes of red, and green square glitter, and round glitter. It also has red and green bar glitter, and silver holo hex glitter.

Christmas themed mani. using Lynderella's and Wet 'n Wild.

Good afternoon! How is your day going? It's cold and dreary here, but DH and I have plans to got out tonight. I'm hoping the bad weather will hold off for a few hours. We are going to the Kansas City Country Club Plaza to see the Christmas lights, and eat at the Melting Pot. It's a fondue restaurant, so lots of yummy cheese and chocolate dips. This will be my first time there, and I'm excited! :-) I've wanted to eat there forever!

Anyway, I decided to do Christmas nails today. I started out with Wet 'n Wild Rockin' Rubies, which is part of the Ice Baby Holiday collection. It has fine red glitter with round, hex glitter. The polish was a bit on the thick side, but nothing too bad. I used three coats for full coverage. I had planned on just wearing this color, but then I started messing around with my Lynnderella polishes. I added a coat of Lynnderella I Can Afford It, which is made of of bright green glitter in different shapes and sizes. It also has a few gold and purple glitter pieces through out. I added a bit too much green, and decided it needed more red. So I grabbed another Lynnderella....Ruby Red Ruby. RRR is made up of all red glitter in different shapes and sizes. I am loving this combo, but dreading taking it off! I have on NINE coats of polish! That's including my treatment, base and topcoats.

Here are pics. of the finished mani.

OPI Ulta Holiday Exclusive Speak For Your-Elf!

Good afternoon! I have to apologize for not posting much in the last week. It's been really busy around my house, and I've hardly had a chance to sit down! We've had company, been shopping(lots)decorating for Christmas, cooking etc...I'm tired! I don't think I'm going to do much today. I'm ready for a lazy day! ;-) It is my stepson's birthday today, but he doesn't want to do much. We are having an awesome cake, and he wants take in, so it's an easy day.

This year Ulta has three Holiday exclusives again. Two of the three, are just renamed. One of them is an exact dupe to one of the Muppet polishes, and the other is a dupe for a Nicole by OPI. I picked up the red one, which is called Speak For Your-Elf! It's a gorgeous jelly red glitter, and I know it's a dupe to something, but it was so pretty, I had to get it. Also, being the red lover that I am, I kinda had to get it. ;-) It's very similar to China Glaze Ruby Pumps. However, I actually think I like this new OPI better! I know! Crazy! I never, ever thought I'd like something better than Ruby Pumps. ;-) I used two coats, and application was wonderful.

Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you are having a great Sunday! :-)

More Sally Hansen Gems Crush Swatches!

Happy Friday!!! :-) I'm ready for the weekend, how about you? I have two more of the Gems Crush polishes to show you today. I can't stress enough how much I love these! The next two I'm going to show you, are Big Money and Cha-Ching!

I'm wearing Cha-Ching! today, and it's a gorg. red glitter with round silver glitter. Application was again, great, and I used two coats. This one reminds me of OPI Muppets Gettin' Ms. Piggy With It,China Glaze Eye Candy Love Marylin. The difference is, that this one is opaque in two coats. Or one thick coat.

Big Money is a goldish tan color (does that even make sense?)with round lavender glitter. This one is pretty unique. I can't think of a color like it. As with all of these, application was great, and I used two coats.

Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you are having a wonderful Friday! :-)

Color Club Santa's Cinnamon

Good morning, and happy Sat!! :-) Do you have any fun weekend plans? I don't have anything planned, and it's nice. I've been super busy the last few weekends, and while it's all been fun, it's nice to have a free weekend.

Color Club has released an exclusive to Sally's Beauty holiday collection. There are six colors, and they are all scented. I'm excited that Sally's is starting to carry Color Club. Hopefully, they will continue to get new collections. I bought three of the holiday collection, and today I have on Santa's Cinnamon. First I have to say, that this polish smells really, really good. Seriously. I can't stop smelling my nails. People might star to think I have some kind of a problem! LOL! I caught myself sitting at a stop light yesterday, smelling my nails. If someone saw me doing that, they probably thought I was a little odd. ;-) This polish smells like red hots, or cinnamon gum.

Now, on to the actual polish. I love it! It's a red jelly with lots of red glitter. It's super pretty, and sparkly. A great polish to wear for the holidays. Application was great, and I have on two coats.

The first pic. is without a topcoat, and the rest are with.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful Sat! :-)

Fallen Leaves Mani.

Good evening! How has your Monday been? Mine's been quite good. Still no word from the vet though. Hopefully, we will have more news tomorrow. I belong to a couple of online nail forums, and one of them has themes from time to time. Today's theme was fallen leaves, and I decided to take part in it.

I started out using China Glaze Below Deck, which is from this year's summer collection. Below Deck is a taupe color with a creme finish. I then used several different colored glitters. I used a burnt orange glitter, by a brand I picked up at Marshall's called Color Zone. The green glitter is by Love & Beauty which you can find at Forever 21. It's just called green. How original, huh? :-D It's an exact dupe to LA Girl's Purge from the Glitter Addict collection. It has small green glitter, and medium sized round green glitter. I used Wet 'n Wild Prancer from last year's holiday collection. It's med. sized red glitter in a clear base. The gold glitter pieces are NYX Girls Gilded Glitter. Of course, I had to see what it looked like matte, so I used Essie Matte About You.

First up, are the pics. before I used the Matte top coat.
