Cosmetic Arts-All The Trimmings.

Are you all recovered from Thanksgiving?? I'm still comfy. in the house, and we're still eating lots of leftovers. Did you go shopping on Black Friday? I thought about it, but I didn't. Instead, I stayed in and did some online shopping. I did get a new nail polish in the mail on Friday. :-) I did another CP from the MUA nail boad.

Cosmetic Arts is a new brand of polish that is made by the same company as Color Club. I believe they have only been found at Fred Myers so far. They def. have some interesting colors. The one I got, All The Trimmings is from the 2010 Holiday line. It's also one of the most unique polishes, and I def. don't have any colors like it in my collection.

All The Trimmings is a squishy green with lots of purple shimmer. I used five coats to get it opaque, but each coat dries fairy quick so it was really no biggie. Application was great. It went on very smoothly.

If you want to see how awesome this polish really is, don't forget to click the pics. to make them bigger. :-)

I hope you all have a nice, relaxing Sunday. :-)

Purple Snowman and Finger Paints Snowy Sparkle Glitter TC

Hey guys! How is everyones week going? Mine's been pretty good. I spent most of the weekend with my horse, which was wonderful! She's my (BIG) baby. :-) I spent the entire day cleaning yesterday, but am relaxing today. :-) We're having my family over for Thanksgiving, so it's going to be a busy week. I really wanted to leave my red/glitter/Prancer mani on until I put my Thanksgiving polish on, but with all the cleaning (which included scrubbing two litter boxes!!) did, it started chipping off last night. I was so worn out, that I didn't really feel like doing my nails by the end of the day, but I can't stand to have naked nails! I really, really don't like my nails without polish, and tend to mess with them on the rare occasions that I don't have poish on. I had to get up early to drop my dogs at the vet for baths this morning. So, I do believe I did my quickets mani. ever last night! I am always really careful etc....but I just wanted to get polish on my nails and get to sleep ASAP! I grabbed the purple snowman polish slapped two coats of it on, and my TC. and jumped in bed. I thought for sure my nails would be all messed up this morning, but surprisingly they didn't look too bad. My thumbs got a but smudged and that's it. This afternoon, I decided to put the new Sparkle top coat by Finger Paints over the purple. It looks like ice crystals or something! :-)

Try to ignore my dry cuticles if you can. I guess after all the cleaning I did, they got a bit dried out. I'll def. have to fix that!

The purple snowman went on very well with two coats. It's really more lavendar than straight purple. I really did like it on it's own, but wanted to see what the FP TC looked like over it. I used one coat of the FP Sparkle TC and it was pretty thick, but not too bad.

The bottles....I LOVE the cute little snowmen! I can't get enough of them. :-) The Finger Paints bottle has cute snowflakes on it.

Purple Snowman

Finger Paints Sparkle Top Coat....it has blue, purple, pink and bronze glitter. You def. need to click on these to get a better look. :-)

I'm still worn out, so I'm going to have a nap and snuggle with the dogs and cats.:-)
Hope you all are enjoying your day! :-)

Red Glitter Bomb!!! Red Snowman,Zoya Delilah and WnW Prancer.

Happy Friday!! How has your day been? Mine has been great! It is Fri. after all. ;-) I have a pretty awesome mani. for you today. I was in a red mood, and I started out with one of the Blue Cross Snowman polishes, a red creme. I am really surprised by how great the formula and application are on these guys. I used two coats, and it went on very smoothly.

The first few pics. are not the greatest and are before clean up, but the last set of pics. are pretty cool. ;-)

Here's the red snowman

I then put two coats of Zoya Delilah on. This is a great polish both layered and alone. Very pretty red jelly with red glitter.

Then I topped it all off with Wet 'n Wild Prancer. My new love! :-) I kinda, sorta, maybe have TEN bottles of this stuff. It is awesome!! You def. need to click on these pis. to get the full effect. LOTS of pics. ahead! LOL!

Whew! That was a lot of pics. I just couldn't pic. my favs. so I decided to post them all.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! :-)

OPI-Sparkle-icious

I do believe out of the Burlesque glitters I used so far, Sparkle-icious just might be my fav. I haven't seen a glitter polish quite like this one, and I LOVE it! :-)

It's a mixture of gold, fuschia and blue glitter. Application was great and this was three coats. Sorry this is so short, but I have to run out the door soon.

Which of the glitters do you like best so far? Do you have any of them yet?

OPI-Show it and Glow it!

Good morning! How is everyone on this Mon. morning? Did you have a good weekend? Mine was okay. I'm happy to report, that I didn't get sick like I thought I was. :-) Guess I was just tired.

Today I have another one of the OPI Burlesque glitters to show you. I absolutely LOVE these polishes!

Show it and Glow it! is another multi colored glitter with fuchsia being the most prominent color. It also has lots of silver glitter with a bit of gold and blue glitter thrown in. Application was great, and I used three coats. Something about this polish reminds me of Christmas tree tinsel.

Don't forget to click on the pics. to see how pretty this one is. It was dark and cloudy all weekend, so it was hard to get great pics.

I took lots of pics. again.

I hope you all have a great day! :-)

Hard Candy Sky,plus WnW holiday glitter and NYC glitter.

Hey guys! How are you? It's a rainy night here, and I'm afraid I'm getting sick. :-( I'm sore, hot and tired. I'm also bored out of my mind! Hopefully I just need a good nights sleep, but I just feel blah. I do have on a super blingy mani though! :-)

I started out with Hard Candy Sky. To tell you the truth, I never understood all the hype about this polish. I mean, it is just a pale blue creme right? Since it came out, I have picked it up, and put it down so many times. I finally decided to buy it last night, after seeing a mani someone on the MUA nail board did with it. After using it, I do like it ok. It is pretty, but application was not very good. It was really thin and streaky. I had to use four coats to get it just right. It is a pale blue with a hidden blue shimmer.

Pics. are okay....it's been dark and rainy all day.

You can kinda pick up the blue shimmer in this pic.

I then added Wet n Wild Prancer over Sky. Prancer is one of the new Holiday polishes, and I LOVE it! It comes in a really small bottle though. I'm buying as many back up bottles of it as I can find. So far, I only have two. Prancer is a red hex glitter and is perfect for layering. It applies very well, and I used one coat.

Next, I added a coat of NYC Starry Silver glitter. SSG has pink and blue hex glitter and small silver glitter. Application was good and I used one coat.

Soo...what do you guys think? Is it too much? Do you like it best alone, with Prancer or all three?

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! :-)
