Cracked Glitter Mani....Island Girl Surfing Safari and LaRosa Hot Pink Crackle.

This is going to be kinda short, as I'm exhausted and ready to get some sleep! It's been one of "those" Mondays here, if you know what I mean! ;-)

Today I started out with one of the Island Girl polishes I got in Vegas. It's called Surfing Safari, and it's a kind of dusty, silver glitter. If that makes sense? It's not just a regular silver glitter. There's just something different about it. I really like it. Application was great, and I used three coats for full coverage. Dry time was super fast since it's a glitter.

I decided to try a new Crackle polish I picked up on Friday on a dusty hunt. The brand is LaRosa. It's called Crackle Shatter. I picked up two. A neon red and a hot pink. I used the hot pink today which is actually named Magenta. I was really surprised by how well it cracked. It worked better than the China Glaze crackles I've used. I think a big difference is, that it wasn't thick or goopy, where my CG crack polishes were. I really like the finish too. It's almost velvety.

Have you ever heard of LaRosa? I hadn't before Fri. They had all kinds of colors though. I might have to go back for more!

UPDATE! Added Polish Names! Lots of Island Girl Spam!!! Plus Pink Wed.

Wow, it's been a whole week since I last made a post! I was super busy at the end of last week. I went on a very quick, but fun trip to Vegas for the weekend. I of course, had to find an ABC store to pick up some Island Girl polish. I kinda bought over 20 bottles. Umm. yeah. I think the girl that checked me out, thought I was crazy! LOL! Ah, well. They were on sell, and they don't cost much as it is. Also, who knows when I'll be able to get them again.

First, I'm going to show you today's mani. I used Island Girl, Island Girl. Yes, that's actually the name as well as the brand. ;-) I decided on this one for pink Wed. It's a very bright hot pink with scattered holo glitter. Application was really good, and it dried almost right away. I used two coats.

Here are pics. of yesterday's mani. I used Island Girl, Island Treat. It's a deep red berry base with pink and red glitter. Application was great on this one as well. I also used two coats.

Island Girl Haul and NOTD

Hey guys! Wow, it's been awhile. I'm not sure how the last week got away from me, without a post. I have so much to show you all, it's crazy! I've been hauling like a mad woman! LOL! I need to slow down a bit. Seriously. I have bought so many polishes lately, and there are still so many new ones coming out that I want. Anyway, these Island Girl polishes were a gift from my parents. They were in Vegas a few weeks ago, and picked them up for me at the ABC store. I LOVE them all!
