Happy Valentine's Day, I'm Back, Lynnderella, and LOTS of Manis!

Hey guys!!! How have you been? I've missed you all, and blogging SO much! I didn't really mean to take a break, but well...life happened. I've had a lot of issues I've had to deal with over the last month or so. It's been crazy, and unfortunately, not in a good way. BUT I'm hoping that's changed now. ;-) I've been dealing with a sick horse,sick dog,sick me,sick grandma,broken computer,hubby being out of town for work, and just so much crap. As you all know me by now, you know that when one of my babies is sick, I'm a mess. So it's been tough. They are all okay for now though. My grandma is better, I'm better...my computer? So-so. I'm actually going to have to send it off for a week or so to get fixed. I will still be blogging during that time though. We have another computer I can use. I'm sorry for disappearing on you all like that, but I'm back now, and I have so much stuff to show you. :-)

Since today's Valentine's Day, I've been doing V-Day manis. over the last few days, so I'm going to start with those first. I'm going to let the pics. do most of the talking, as there are quite a few of them to get through. ;-)

Sinful Colors Ciao Bella

Good morning! Ugh...Mon. again! LOL! I'm still half asleep here. We had terrible storms in the middle of the night, both Fri. and Sat. night. So I had hardly any sleep. I am SO ready for storms season to pass!

Today, I'm going to show you my mani. that I did yesterday. I used Sinful Colors Ciao Bella. I *think* it might be new. I found it at Walgreens Fri. and I had never seen it before. I know Sinful Colors are famous for renaming their colors and saying they are new. Anyway, Ciao Bella is a pretty deep blue jelly, and it has glass flecks in it! Application was good, and I used two coats. I also added a butterfly sticker to my ring finger. I was in a hurry when I put it on, so I'm not too pleased with how it ended up. It needed to be lower than it was. It's okay. I guess. ;-)

Sinful Colors Cream Pink

Well, it's pink Wed. again! This is going to be a short post, as we are having tornado warnings AGAIN! I'm SO ready for tornado season to be over. Unfortunately, it's just beginning. Ugh.

Anyway, I have on Sinful Colors Cream Pink. It's a bright pink with hidden gold shimmer. It's funny, in the bottle the shimmer looks silver, but on the nail it looks gold. Application was really good, and I used two coats.



It was hard to get a good pic. showing the shimmer, but you can see it pretty well in this next pic.

St. Patrick's Day Mani. and Green Spam Part Two!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! I hope you are wearing your green today! ;-) I have the second part of my green spam to show you today. Since this is going to be kinda long again, I'm going to get right to it.

To start off with, here is my actual St. Patrick's Day mani. I used Sinful Colors Irish Green as the base,Ulta's Pinata-Yada-Yada on my ring finger and Nicole by Opi Twist of Fate on my pinky finger. On my middle finger I used stickers that I found at Sally's Beauty.





Sinful Colors Irish Green. IG is a very bright jelly green. Almost neon, but not quite. It is VERY sheer. I had to use five coats to get it to look like it does in the pics. and I could still see my nail line. It's a really pretty color. I just wish it wasn't so sheer.





The next mani. is one I also did today. It's pretty similar to the first one, but I just wasn't feeling it. It's okay. I used China Glaze Four Leaf Clover as the base,Amour Rain Glitter on my ring finer,Milani Gold hex on my pinky and sally's sticker on my middle finger.





Next up is Nars Zulu. Zulu is a deep forest jelly green. I used three coats, and application was pretty good. A little streaky, but with a color this awesome that's okay. ;-)





Zulu with Sinful Colors Call You Later on top. Call You Later is a mixture of different sizes of green glitter. It also has some gold glitter in it as well.

Nubar Reclaim. I posted this a few posts back, so you can see it there for a review. I'll just say, its one awesome polish!! :-)





BB Couture Frosty Meadow. FM is a green jelly with silver and green glitter. Application was wonderful and this is two coats. This is another one of my fav. green polishes. It's pretty near perfect! :-)

China Glaze Sour Apple. SA is bright green jelly, with lots of green,yellow and silver glitter. It reminds me of those Apple suckers that come out around Halloween. Or maybe the color of an apple jolly rancher. The formula was a bit thick, but nothing too bad I used three coats.

Here is Sour Apple with Sinful Colors Green Ocean. Green Ocean is a clearish green base with flakies. It is a really pretty polish, but you have to work with it. It's VERY thick, and the flakies tend to want to stick out on the nail. I didn't have to much patience this time, so I ended up taking it off. This is with two coats of GO.



Whew!!! That was quite a few pics. I apologize if it seems like I flew this this entry. I'm kinda in a hurry to meet some friends, and I feel like I've been doing nail related things all day long! LOL! If you have any questions about any of the polishes I posted, feel free to let me know.

Love & Beauty Purple/Gold and Sinful Red Ocean

Today, I have on a polish I picked up from Forever 21. The brand is called Love and Beauty. They have quite a few different colors, and I think I have around ten of them. They are $2.99 and supposedly they are made by the same people who make LA Girl polish. Quite a few of the L&B colors are the same as the LA Girl colors. They don't have the same names, but they look just alike. The one I have on today, is just called purple. It is a grape purple with gold shimmer. It's very pretty. Application was a bit tricky as the polish was kinda thick. I used two coats but one was plenty. While I really liked the color on it's own, I was in the mood for something more. So, I put a coat of Sinful Colors Red Ocean on top. Red Ocean is a red base with green flakies and orange glitter. LOVE it! :-)








Here is the Love and Beauty Purple on it's own.









After adding Sinful Colors Red Ocean, I decided to top it off with adding a Hot Topic polish that has holo stars and glitter. Maybe a bit too much? I don't know. I kinda like it..but not for sure. LOL! I guess I was just in a layering mood.
