OPI Animal-Istic

Good afternoon! What are you up to on this Sat? I just woke up from a quick nap, and will be getting ready to go to a football game shortly. :-)

I have on OPI Animal-Istic today, which is another polish from the Muppet collection. This is a great bright red, with a touch of orange. It also has glass flecks in it. It reminds me of China Glaze Cherry Pie and/or Raspberry Festival. Same kind of finish. I didn't have any application problems at all, and I used two coats. If you are a red lover like I am, this polish is for you. ;-)

Close Up.

Animal thanks you for reading! ;-) Have a great night! :-)

A Holiday polish turns into a Halloween Mani....OPI Pepes Purple Passion, plus black glitter & moons.

Okay....I'm going to try this for the fourth time. Ugh. I don't know what's going on, but I've typed this post four times, gotten to the end, and it just deletes completely. Sooo annoying.

I had my first Muppet fail today. :-( Ha, Ha....I guess that sound kinda funny, if you don't know what I'm talking about, doesn't it? I'm sure most of you know, I'm talking about the OPI Holiday collection. I had high hopes for this polish. It's super pretty in the bottle, and I love the name. It was an absolute mess to apply though. Somehow, it is thick, yet runny at the same time. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but I'm not sure how else to describe it. It's like it's really thick half way down the brush, and then it gets runny. Really strange. I don't know if I just got a bad bottle or what.

Pepes Purple Passion is a deep purple with glass flecks. I used two coats, but should have used one, since the formula was so messy. I somehow thought using the second coat would help. It didn't. I decided I didn't want to take the polish off, so I added a coat of LA Girl Uninhibited, which is small, round black glitter, and black hex glitter. Then I added a polish I picked up in a three back at Marshall's. The brand is called Color Zone, and it's made my Bluecross Beauty. The same brand that makes the cute little pumpkin polishes. The polish I used, doesn't have a name. I LOVE it though. It has med. sized round holo glitter, and holo moon shapes. I could star at the bottle all day! LOL!

I'm going to show you the pics. of the finished mani. first, and then OPI Pepes Purple Passion.

A couple of close up's...

It really doesn't look so bad in the pics. I guess. It was just such a mess. Who knows, maybe I'll give it another chance sometime. ;-)

OPI Muppets....Meep-Meep-Meep!

Happy Saturday!! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I'm not sure what we're going to do, but clean today. Fun, fun! LOL! I'm okay with that. It's been such a stressful, nerve wracking week for me. I just hope it's a uneventful weekend here.

I have the first of the OPI Muppet collection to show you today! I was at the mall Thurs. night, and as I was walking past JcPenny I spotted a full untouched Muppets display! I was so excited! LOL! I grabbed nine of them. I got a really good deal too. They were buy 2 get 1 free. Plus, I had two $10 off of $20 coupons to use. They let me use both! I actually had to get four one night, and go back yesterday to get the other five. For some odd reason, they won't sell you more than four polishes at a time. Isn't that odd? I found it to be really strange. Has anyone else run into that? If you have more than one form of payment you can two two different transactions. I don't know Just seems strange to me.

Today, I have on Meep-Meep-Meep which is a fuchsia pink with glass flecks throughout it. Application was awesome! It applied really well, and dried super fast. I used two coats. The Muppet collection is OPI's Holiday 2011 collection, which I'm sure most of you already know. ;-)

Thanks so much for looking, and I hope you have a wonderful Saturday! :-)

Swatches of the new Revlon Summer 2011 Collection.

Yay!! It's Friday! :-) I meant to post this review yesterday, but time just got away from me. I have the new Revlon summer collection to show you today. There are three colors. Tangerine, a great summer orange with gold shimmer. Blue Lagoon, a pale blue with silver shimmer, and my fav. of the bunch. The third one is Sunshine Sparkle, I want to say, it has glass flecks in it.

I really love the colors with my fav. being Blue Lagoon, followed by Tangerine, and then Sunshine Sparkle. The application is another story. I think Revlon polish hates me for some reason. I almost always get bubbles with Revlon. I did BL twice because of bubbles. Blue Lagoon and Sunshine Sparkle were pretty streaky. Tangerine def. applied the best of the three. I used three coats on all of them.

Do you plan on getting any of these? Or have you already? If so, which ones? Thanks for looking, and I hope you are all having a wonderful Friday! :-)
