Two Manis. today....Apples and Cats!

Good morning! How was your weekend? Mine was really good, but I was so exhausted by yesterday afternoon, I could have gone to bed for the night! We went to a late football game Sat. night and didn't get home until 1am I didn't get to sleep until 3am and was up at 7! We got up yesterday, and went to a fall festival at a Cidermill. We had some yummy cider donuts and apple cider. I had an apple cider slush. Sooo good! :-) After that we went to a winery, did some wine tasting, and then enjoyed a bottle of apple wine,cheese and pumpkin fudge. By that time, I was ready for some sleep! I came home and had a nap, but it was not long enough. Needless to say, I slept well last night! LOL!

I actually did two manis. yesterday. I wanted to post them last night, but just couldn't stay awake. The first one I did, was an apple mani. to go alone with our activities of the day. :-) I used a Love & Beauty polish, from Forever 21. The name of it is just called Green. It is so much more than just green though. It's an apple green color with lots of gold shimmer. It's super pretty. Application was great. The formula is a little on the thin side, so I used three coats. I then added apple fimo's to each nail.

Now on to the second mani. that I did yesterday. As much as I loved the apple mani. I did, by the time we got home, a couple of the apples were falling off. I decided to do a cat mani. since yesterday was National Feral Cat Day. The color for NFCD is teal. I used a newer brand of polish that can be found at Ulta. It's called Pixel. The bottles are small...0.17 Fl.oz/5ml but they do have quite a few pretty colors. The one I wore yesterday is called Aqua-Escence It is a dark teal color with golden shimmer. Now application was not the best. I think because the bottle/brush is so small, I had to dip the brush in twice to cover my nail. Plus, buy this time, I was super tired. Who knows, it could have just been me. ;-) I used two thick coats, and added a Halloween cat nail sticker to my ring fingers.

Speaking of cats, here's a cute pic. I snapped of one of my cats, Morris yesterday. We had pizza last night, and he decided he wanted to sit on top of the boxes! Notice my beagle, Buster in the corner staring up at the pizza. LOL!
