HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Do you have anything fun going on tonight? We're just going to stay in, and hand out candy to the trick or treaters. We always have tons of kids coming by, and it's fun to see them all dressed up. Whatever you are doing tonight, I hope you have a good time. :-)
For my Halloween Mani. I used several polishes. I'm going to post the pics. first, and then I'll tell you what I used.
Left thumb.
Right thumb.
On my pointer finger, I used China Glaze Grape Pop, and Blue Cross Pumpkin moons/ silver glitter. On my middle finger, Orly Fresh and Blue Cross Pumpkin silver/black glitter. Ring finger is Blue Cross black creme pumpkin, and Love & Beauty Green glitter. Pinky is Sally Hansen Sun Kissed, and L.A. Girl Uninhibited. My thumbs are Orly Fresh and Blue Cross Pumpkin silver/black glitter. I used Joby Halloween nail stickers on each finger as well.
I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I really like this mani. :-) I never know when I use stickers if they'll work well or not. They are usually hit or miss. I got lucky this time, and didn't have trouble with any of them.
Here are a few more pics.
With just the base colors on.
With the glitter added.
One more of the final mani.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful night! :-)

Flakie Halloween/Fall Mani. (For real this time!)
UGH! I've been in the middle of typing this up three times now, and all of the sudden, it just posts. So annoying! Anyway, here we go again. LOL!
Good morning! How has your weekend been so far? Mine's been good. :-) Yesterday, we had family pics. taken with aunts, uncles, cousins, parents and my grandma. It was fun to get together for it. I took some yummy Halloween cupcakes and Apple Cider. The weather was nice, so we were able to have the pics. taken outside by the trees that have changed to the fall colors. I think they will turn out well. :-)
I have a fall/Halloween mani. to show you today. I started out with a black creme polish by Blue Cross. It was one of the cute little pumpkin polishes, which I will show you more of tomorrow. ;-) I then added a Colorama flakie by Maybelline, named Shimmer Girl. Now, I know there are several flakie polishes out there, and I have a few of them. However, I think that Shimmer Girl beats all of them. If only they still made it! It has the same orange/green/golden yellow flakes that the others have, but there is just something about this one that makes it better. In my opinion anyway. ;-) I just love it, and I so want to get my hands on another bottle or two.....or five. LOL! I was really lucky to find this one. I was in a dollar store, in an outlet mall and spotted this lone polish for only $1! I grabbed it up as fast as I could. ;-)
I also added pumpkin stickers by Joby to my ring fingers. Then, I decided to see what it looked like matte. I usually love matte flakies and glitter, but for this mani. I like it better shinny. I ended up putting topcoat over the matte, to make it shinny again.

Halloween Manis!!
Happy Friday!!! Wow, has this week flown by for me! I've been a bad blogger, and only posted ONE blog this week. :-( I'm really sorry. Thanks for sticking with me though. This week has been very unexpectedly busy for me. I've had things going on every single day/night that just sorta came up. So that's why I've been sorta MIA lately.
I do have lots of pics. to show you today though. :-) I'll start off with the simple one, and the one I loved. A couple of years ago, Color Club had a mini Halloween set. I really only wanted it for one color. Abracadabra. I finally got my hands on it, not too long ago, and it didn't let me down. ;-) Abracadabra is a gorgeous, squishy orange jelly with gold and orange glitter. I have nothing like it, and I LOVE it. I so wish they made this in a regular sized bottle. I'd probably hoard the stuff. LOL! Application was great, and I used three coats.
Of course, I had to try it with my Essie Matte About You. It turned out pretty cool. ;-)
Non Matte and Matte Close ups.
Now to the second Mani...This one turned out to be a kinda fail, kinda cool mani. If you know what I mean? I started out with two coats of China Glaze It's Alive, which is a really awesome polish. I will def. have to wear this on it's own sometime. It's Alive is a swampy green jelly with round and hex green glitter. I've heard that people have had some issues with this being a pain to apply, and that it was too thick. I didn't have either of those issues. It applied great, and wasn't thick at all. I used two coats. I then added a coat of OPI Black Shatter, and then a coat of China Glaze Ghoulish Glow to the top. The Ghoulish Glow was the fail. It didn't glow at all. I went in a very dark room, and it just didn't work. :-( The bottle glowed, but not my nails. I have no idea why. Maybe I needed to add another coat or something. Anyway, it did give the mani. more of an over all Halloween look to it. I also added a pumpkin sticker to my ring fingers.
I guess it turned out okay. Just not what I was expecting. So kinda fail, kinda not. ;-)
First up, here is China Glaze It's Alive on it's own.

Essie Bobbing for Baubles and Lynnderella Shape Shifter
Good morning! I'm so sorry I haven't blogged in a few days. I guess I needed a tiny break. I'm back though! ;-) I hope you all had a good weekend. Did you do anything fun?
I have one of the new Essie winter polishes to show you today. It's called Bobbing for Baubles, and it's a smokey blue color. It leans more blue than grey, but the grey is def. there. It looks more blue in person, than it does in pics. You can def. see the grey in the pics. I took. Application was absolutely wonderful, and I really could have gotten away with one coat, but I still used two.
I got three more Lynnderella polishes last week, and decided to use one over Bobbing for Baubles. I used Shape Shifter. In one word, this polish is AWESOME! I love it! It's made up of lots of different silver glitter shapes and sizes. Some of the shapes are large holo hex glitter, med. hex, squares, bar glitter, stars, moons, flowers, diamonds, fine silver glitter, and I even found a butterfly shaped glitter in my bottle! It's basically a bottle of awesome! ;-) I used two coats of Shape Shifter over Bobbing for Baubles. I love this mani. so much that I still have it on, and I put it on, on Thurs. That's a long time for me, when I usually change my polish every day. :-)
First up, are pics. of both polishes together.
Essie Bobbing for Baubles
I found the Essie winter collection at Ulta, and I've also seen it at Target and Walgreens. I just bought this one polish from the collection, but I might go back for a couple more. ;-)
Have a great day! :-)

Butter London Holiday Polishes.....Swatches and review.
Good evening! I have two, of the three Butter London 2011 Holiday polishes to show you. I wore Tart With a Heart yesterday. It's a gray/pink with blue, green, orange and clear iridescent glitter. It's really best used as a layering polish. Application was good, but the formula was a little on the thick side. I used one coat of Tart With a Heart over two coats of China Glaze Pelican Gray. It's a pretty polish, and I do like it. However, it is very dupeable. I don't think it's worth $14 for sure.
Today, I wore The Black Knight. It has a black base with fuchsia, blue, red, and silver glitter. Again, this one was on the thick side, but not too bad. I used two coats, and it did apply pretty well for it being a bit thick. I quite like this one a lot. While I do have other black polishes with multi glitter, I don't believe I have one with these certain colors only.
There is a third polish in the collection, that I didn't get. It's called Fairy Lights. It looks like a pinkish purple metallic to me, and I have plenty of those. I ordered from the Butter London website, and as of right now, they are all three still in stock.
First up, I'll show you the pics. of The Black Knight.

Lynnderella Cauldron Drippings & NYC Pumpkin
Good evening! This is going to be a short post, as I have to go out soon. I do have quite a few pics. though. :-)
I have on one of Lynnderella's Halloween polishes. It's called Cauldron Drippings and it's another awesome glitter. It has so many different shapes, sizes and colors of glitter, I can't begin to name them all! Here are just a few....small and large squares, bar glitter, round glitter and hex glitter. The dominant color is orange, but it has all colors too. It has greens, purples, reds, oranges, black, white and silver as well. It's best worn as a layering polish, and I used it over one of the fall NYC polishes named Pumpkin. Pumpkin is orange with a bit of a golden shimmer to it. Application with both polishes was great. I use two coats of NYC Pumpkin and two coats of Lynnderella Cauldron Drippings.
