You guys HAVE to see this! OPI Merry Midnight with SH Hidden Treasure.

I have to say, this is one of my fav. combos EVER! It's super pretty....it looks like a rainbow. I wish I could take credit for the gorgeous combo, but I can't. Someone on the MUA nail board posted pics. of this over the weekend, and I just HAD to try it. I'm sure glad!

I started out with two coats of OPI Merry Midnight (which is pretty awesome on it's own too)and then I used one coat of Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure. I'll let the pics. do the talking on this one. :-) Get ready for LOTS of pics!

OPI Burlesque Swatches!!

Well, three of them anyway. :-) I was able to get my hands on Ali's Big Break,Let Me Entertain You, and Extrav-Va-Vaganza! I will hopefully have the rest of the collection in the next week or so. I LOVE these!!! :-) ABB, and LMEY were a bit tough to photograph for me. I don't know why, but it was a cloudy and stormy day. I was also quite excited to swatch them, so did them kinda fast. Anyway, I might do them again, when I have the rest of the collection, and try to get better pics. but for now, here's what I have. :-)

First up is Extrav-Va-Vaganza! I really like this one. I'm a glitter freak, so anything glitter calls to me. :-) Application was great...only TWO coats for this glitter. It has green,yellow,pink,silver and orange glitter in it with orange being the color that stands out the most.













Next up is Ali's Big Break...I love this one! I mean how can I not?! It was named after ME! LOL! Seriously though, I love the name (for obvious reasons!) and I love the color. I'm sad that it was so hard to take good pics. of though. I tried. It's a bright fire engine red with gold glitter and small silver flakes. LOVE! App. was good and this was two coats.













Last but not least, is Let Me Entertain You. This one is a fuschia color with silver glitter and the same small silver flakes that Ali's Big Break has. Super pretty color. Just as I was going out the door to take pics. I managed to smudge my ring finger, so try to ignore that. I tried to fix it, but you can still see it. Application was good, and this was two coats.











Are you all as excited about this collection as I am? Will you be getting any of them? All of them, or none of them? I think I want all but two. :-)

Revlon Matte Suede Ruby Ribbon plus Emerald City with a twist. :-)

Today I have the last of the last of Revlon Matte Suede collection. Ruby Ribbon. This is another winner for me. I seriously love this entire collection. This one applied well, just like the rest of the collection. It also has the same shimmer as the others. Ruby Ribbon is a purplish red color. I would call it a burgundy. It has violet shimmer.

This was two coats with no topcoat.







Before I took off Emerald City, I decided to jazz it up a bit. I put a coat of Pure Ice Heart Breaker over top. It turned out so pretty! It really brought the green shimmer out, and also kinda fixed the bubble situation. :-)









What do you think of the Revlon Matte Suede collection? Do you have any, or will you be getting any of them?

Revlon Matte Suede Emerald City

Here is the third color from this collection. I had a bit of trouble applying this one, because the brush is all wonky. I should have checked it before I bought it....I never learn my lesson! lol! I'm not sure if it's because of the brush or not, but I got a few bubbles with this one. I'm thinking about taking it back, and getting a different bottle with a better brush. Is that silly?! I really LOVE the color, so it is a polish I will be wearing. So, considering that, I'd like to have a bottle with a much better brush. We'll see. Anyway, this has the same shimmer as the others. This one has green shimmer. I used three coats and no topcoat.

I might go ahead and swatch the last one of this collection today...We'll see how long I can stand the bubbles in this one. lol! I'm kinda OCD about my polish. ;-)

Revlon Matte Suede Fire Fox

Fire Fox is the second of the four Revlon Matte Suede that I'm swatching. See below for Powder Puff that was posted yesterday. :-)

Fire Fox is a fire engine red color with red shimmer. Just like Powder Puff, I love this one! Two matte's in a row?! that's unheard of for me! lol...I would say that the finish is somewhere in the middle of a true matte and the Orly Plastix. If that makes sense?

I did three coats of Fire Fox and no top coat. Application was great. Went on very smooth again, dried very fast.

I still have the UGLY eye sore on my middle finger today. UGH! I was hoping it would be gone or at least a bit better. I hate it, and I apologize you have to see it. I know I don't have to post pics. until it's gone, but I feel like swatching!

Ok. Enough about that, and on to the pics. :-)

Revlon Matte Suede collection

As I've said before, I'm not a huge matte lover. So when I heard about the new Revlon matte suede collection, I was going to pass on it. I truthfully didn't give it much thought. A couple of weeks ago I started seeing swatches of Ruby Ribbon, and thought it looked really pretty. Not like the kind of matte that I'm used to. More shinny. Sooo...you know what happens next....I decided to try them out. I bought two, but liked them so much, I know have all four.

Ruby Ribbon,Powder Puff,Emerald City and Fire Fox.


Today I'm going to show you Powder Puff. It's a white matte with a very light blue shimmer. I absolutely couldn't get the shimmer to pick up on the camera, but it's there. :-) There are two things going on for me here. One, I never wear white polish and two the matte thing and I don't get along. However, I LOVE this polish! It reminds me of marshmallow puff. Application was really good. I was surprised. I figured it would be streaky, but it wasn't at all. I used three coats, and it dried super fast. I didn't use a top coat as that would take away from the suede effect. Please try to ignore the UGLY eye sore on my middle finger. :-/ I got a bit impatient with my cuticle, and it shows. :-( Sorry for that. I've waited a few days to swatch, but couldn't stand it any longer! LOL!







You can KINDA see the blue shimmer in this pic...you have to look close though..lol


I will be swatching the other three colors soon. :-)
